H.R. 8: Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019

Now that congress is back in session, we need to communicate with our senators that we have not forgotten fight for gun control. Not only should we contact both of our senators to remind them that we are done with them putting weapons of mass murder in the hands of people who are unfit to own them, we need to inundate Mr. McConnell with calls, letters, etc. until he finally stops giving terrorists weapons to slaughter Americans. As always, I have included what I have drafted for my senators and you may use it as is or edit it as you see fit.

Dear Senator:
With congress back in session, I expect that the senate will bring H.R. 8: Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019 to the floor for a vote as was promised prior to the senate’s recess. Too many people have died of those with guns in their hands not to pass this bill to have the president sign it into law!
