Dear Legislator:
If Mr. Trump did not commit any crimes and you have nothing to hide, then release the full-unredacted Mueller report. When the president’s appointed attorney general released a vague summary that reads more like a rehash of an opinion piece written to flatter the man who would later appoint him to office, rather than a summary of a lengthy investigation into perceived criminal acts, it calls into grave concern that it only further obstructs justice. At the very least, congress needs to be given full, unrestricted access to the report and all evidence related to it to ensure the attorney general has put the nation’s interest forth most and justice is actually being served.
